Chapter 172: Is It Work?

Since the door to the basement required a particular technique, Madeline again had one of her men open it. Since they would leave soon after, they did it inside the car. 

While the metal door was being opened, Theodore and the other three began to use a magic scroll that could shield their car so they could calmly pass through the streets full of zombies. 

"No need to worry, we can do it!" Theodore calmed the others standing not far from him while holding the magic scroll. 

"Are you sure this will work?" Madeline was one of the people holding the magic scroll with Theodore. 

"Of course," Theodore replied, nodding his head confidently. 

After that, the other two people began calming down and followed Theodore's lead to activate the magic scroll in their hands. 

Slowly, a white light began to glow from the magic scroll and drifted to envelop the three cars there; over time, the light faded and finally disappeared.
