Chapter 22: Broggy
//Techno POV//
"Nice to meet you Technoblade." Broggy answered.
"What're you doing Techno?" Nami asked as I didn't say much when I left.
"Well, I wandered around the island, picked up a few plants and things to see how they react with my ingredients. I heard the volcano and decided to see if I could find any interesting materials nearby when I saw a giant figure walking in this direction and got curious." I answered.
"Tell me , Blade, if I had been a hostile person and attacked you what would have you done? Because I knew I was being followed and could have attacked." Broggy asked.
"Simple answer, Mr. Broggy, I'd have fought you." I say.
"Oh? You think you could've beaten me?" He asked. Maybe I could have, but I'd rather not try and antagonise the giant.
"Honestly, I don't know. There was a chance you'd attack which I was prepared for." I answer truthfully.
"Yes, that axe is interesting. Made from diamonds from Craftia I believe. The only reason I recognise it is because long ago I had to face someone who used a spear of the same material. It is a rather unknown material as it is rare and most do not know of its strength." Broggy told me.
"Interesting." I said. I knew that the diamond was difficult to find and quite a hard material to work with but I didn't know it was that strong.
"Well-" Before I could continue the volcano went off.
"Hahahahaha it seems the fight will begin soon. This is a good day." Broggy said laughing.
"You're gonna fight again? Aren't you injured?" Ussop asked.
"Don't be silly. We both got hurt last time." He said before continuing
"We both risk our lives on this fight. We don't use any lame excuses to postpone this fight" He said laughing.
"Well then, I pray you win." I said. I knew what was gonna happen and mentally I was getting through scenarios where we could come out relatively unscathed. I could've tried taking them down alone but I don't wanna risk it because I don't know how strong they are in this reality. Are they the same as canon or are they stronger?
"Yeah teach him a lesson Teacher Broggy" Ussop said.
"Sure! I will crush him down this time. Hahahaha." He said as he left towards the volcano.
