Chapter 44: Chapter 42: Show of strength.
It happened in an instant.
A moment ago they were standing on top of rubble and in the next moment they appeared on top of a volcano.
The heat was the first thing to hit them, a suffocating wave of searing air that clawed at their lungs and made their skin prickle with discomfort.
All Might stumbled as the ground beneath his feet shifted, molten rock bubbling up in jagged bursts. Around him, the landscape had transformed into a hellish nightmare. Rivers of lava snaked through blackened earth, and towering pillars of flame erupted from the ground with deafening roars.
This wasn't just fire, it was a realm of destruction, an oppressive cage of molten fury.
The pro heroes were shaken, taking in the horrifying scene. The sheer malevolence of the space was overwhelming, pressing down on them like a tangible force.
"Just what is this?....," One of them questioned in a shaking voice.
It was then.
Ultimate Mechamaru's voice reached their eyes.
"Welcome to my Coffin of the Iron Mountain,"
He was like a demon, looking down at them from above.
Ultimate Mechamaru said, his voice akin to erupting magma. "Do your best to survive..."
"Heroes."
Along with his voice.
All of the heroes who were present within the domain, all except All Might.
Ignited at the same time.
Bursting up in flame.
"Arhh!!"
"Gran Torino!"
Seeing his teacher burst up in flame a blood-curdling howl escaped All Might's mouth.
Their painful and horrifying screams were caught clearly by the cameramen who were in the helicopter stuck inside the domain.
The citizens watching the scene were stunned.
But there was an anomaly.
The camera quickly zoomed in on Kurokai, his friends, Hero Kamui Wood, Best Jeanist, Toger, and Mount Lady.....
All of them were completely fine.
But they all understood.
It wasn't some kind of coincidence.
A blast of magma tried to envelop the stunned Momo but before it could reach her it was blocked by a barely visible green film.
Controlling her roaring heart she turned towards Kurokai and shouted in a hurried voice.
"Kurokia-kun! Help them!"
Kurokai nodded his head and raised his palm, with a single move all the heroes except All Might were quickly pulled inside his barrier, the flame burning on their bodies also extinguished
Seeing the scene All Might felt a little relieved, then his gaze turned towards Ultimate Mechamaru.
"This is the second time....."
All Might's body shook in anger.
"Someone has made me this mad....."
With a loud boom, All Might's figure was launched into the air, heading straight toward Ultimate Mechamaru.
"Carolina Punch!"
Ultimate Mechamaru suddenly opened his mouth and sprayed out lava breath making All Might halt his attack and hurriedly change the direction.
"Shit!"
All Might cursed feeling the top layer of his skin burn up.
The next moment the lava on his right moved, rushing straight toward him.
Sensing the danger, he barely managed to dodge using his inhuman speed.
"You guys have any plan?", Kurokai asked as he healed Endeavour who was burned by Mechamaru's flame.
The heroes fell silent.
They clearly remembered that horrifying burning pain.
Kurokai didn't wait for their answer and continued helping the next person.
All Might could only helplessly move from one place to another, dodging Mechamaru's continuous attacks.
However what he didn't know was that Mechamaru wasn't using the domain's sure hit mechanism when attacking him, allowing him to dodge.
Kurokia silently used his ability to control the camera, making sure it did its job.
"Hey kid can you bring Toshinori in?", Gran Torino suddenly appeared beside him and asked.
"I'm afraid if All Might were to come in, I won't be able to keep holding the barrier.", Kurokia shook his head, pointing out that Mechamaru wasn't actively attacking them now because of which he could hold on, but if All Might was to also come in, then he would not be able to hold on.
Gran Torino's face turned solemn.
Suddenly All Might's foot slipped and his figure was enveloped by flame.
"Toshinori!"
"All Might!"
Gran Torino and Midoriya shouted at the same time.
As the lava subsided, All Might's darkened figure came into their view, it was bad, he was lying face down, his hair was burned, most of his dress was gone but above all....his giant figure suddenly deflated by several sizes.
From a muscular Hulk to a normal bodybuilder.
"N-No way....."
"W-will All Might lose?"
The citizens became restless.
Ultimate Mechamaru floated down and stood before the unmoving All Might.
With a gust of air, the mechanical body moved, opening up and revealing the figure of Mechamaru to the world.
With unhurried footsteps, Mechamaru started making his way towards All Might.
"Kurokai hurry up and bring All Might in!"
Hero Best Jeanist shouted in a loud voice.
Kurokai nodded.
He also thought it was time to end the performance.
But just when he was about to move, Gran Torino silently grabbed his leg.
"Wait for it....."
Kurokai narrowed his eyes, hearing his muffled voice.
'Don't tell me the symbol of peace is playing dead?'
Nonetheless, Mechamaru didn't stop and kept walking towards All Might.
And just when he was close enough.
All Might's figure sprang up at incredible speed, throwing a punch straight towards Mechamaru's face. Who in turn raised his hand to intercept it.
Seeing what his enemy wanted to do, All Might's eyes glowed and he used his full power on the attack.
"Plus Ultra!"
But just before the punch could connect, Mechamaru's eyes turned blue.
The unassuming mechanical palm blocked the strongest punch.
The result stunned everyone.
"Huh?"
A stupefied voice escaped All Might's mouth.
He couldn't believe it.
His full-powered punch, using every last bit of OFA's embers....was blocked.
Is this a dream?.....
All Might'sbody started trembling.
Suddenly an emotion started growing inside All Might's mind.
An emotion....of fear.....
Mechamaru's unblinking blue eyes made him feel fear.
"You lost, Hero."

Mechamaru let go of his hand, letting him powerlessly drop to the ground.
Placing a leg on top of All Might's face, Mechamaru declared to the world in an unquestionable tone.
"I won."
