Chapter 200: Shopping with sisters

The drive was extremely awkward. Rong drove, Jiaying sat at the front seat while Lijuan sat down behind. All three were quiet. As Rong drove, the other two sisters got busy with their phones. 

Lijuan had noticed that Rong and Jiaying weren't saying anything because of her. Once they started a conversation and realised Lijuan was going to get lost, they would end it. It had happened a couple of times until both sisters decided to stop talking altogether. 

"What should we get for mother? She already has tons of jewelries and designer's bags and shoes. Arg! This is so tiring." Jiaying sighed. 

This was a topic both sisters could contribute evenly. 

"I've been thinking the same thing. I have no idea what to get her." Rong said with her gaze still on the road. 

"What about you sister Juan? Any ideas?" 

Lijuan thought about it carefully. She hadn't really planned for a nice gift to give to her mother.
