Chapter 105: Chapter 105: A ninja war?!
Orochimaru tugged his sword with a frown, and failed to retrieve it.
The ninja that got in the way turned into a muddy substance as he heard a yell from above.
"Rasengan!!"
Orochimaru dropped the Kusanagi before slithering back a few meters.
Boom!!!
The azure sphere of chakra smashed into his previous location and created cracks in the ground.
Taking advantage of the time bought, Hiruzen successfully completed the summoning jutsu bringing Monkey King, Enma to the battlefield.
"Lord Jiraiya is here!"
A few of the Konoha shinobi announced causing their army's morale to rise.
Orochimaru glared at Jiraiya in displeasure, not at all happy, to see an old friend for the first time in ten years.
"Jiraiya, do you really think you will make a difference against our villages? You know well, what this old monkey has done. This is merely justice."
The toad sage, looked at him with an unsure expression.
"Of course, I know. I know very well. But I can't let my comrades die on a battlefield while I watch on from the side of the battlefield.
The two sannin stared at each other for tens of seconds, with only the sounds of fighting in the background.
Jiraiya made the first move, but not any slower, Orochimaru repeated similar movements.
They crouched down on the ground and called in unison, "Summoning technique!"
Massive clouds of smoke simultaneously emerged out from their hands revealing two hulking figures of a toad and python respectively.
The two gigantic beasts, not any smaller than tailed beasts, appeared tearing the arena apart.
Boom!!!
Chunks of concrete and stone fell everywhere as the venue collapse in on itself.
Orochimaru gave a cruel sneer and said, "You've got in my way, now die!"
Jiraiya swallowed his sentimental feelings and replied without hesitation, "This time, I wont hold back!"
The weaker shinobi from the villages received some serious injuries and tried to go for a temporary retreat.
The array set up by Izumi did it's job and protected the walking bags of money as they stood inside the floating cube.
Many of them swore to never treat shinobi badly again.
This was a living nightmare for some of them with less backbone, having already fainted or soiled themselves.
The daimyo from the Land of Rivers muttered in fear.
"This is going to be even more influential than the great ninja war!"
Today, they saw first hand, how intricate and complex the military might of the Major Shinobi villages was and marvelled at their combat strength.
Naruto noticed the pervy sage, summoning the chief toad and decided to mimic him and summon one.
"Summoning jutsu!"
Shukaku followed the chakra signature of his eldest brother's jinchuriki and met him along with the toad Gamaken.
The toad had black markings trailing down his face and and a harpoon and shield in hand.
"Woah, a sandy mountain? Want me to make you a sand castle, little brat?"
The toad then blinked his eyes and looked at him, "Woah, are you okay?"

Slightly further away in a forest.
Now, thanks to the five behemoths, Shukaku, Matatabi, Gamaken, Gamabunta and Manda, the village was beginning to resemble the wasteland left after pain's future attack.
A staff extended as it travelled through the air targeting Hachiro.
"Dance of the Camilla!"
Kimimaro pulled out a bone from his rib cage and tried to block the staff.
Clang~!
Unfortunately, the wielder of the staff was a kage level ninja, and the staff itself was many times harder than his bones.
The difference in power caused him to be sent rolling backwards with several cracks in the rib bone.
"Kimimaro!"
Haku jumped behind him, and cushioned his roll as he continued to slide a few meters.
The staff continued on its trajectory getting extremely close to its intended target.
However, a girlish figure with flower-like eyes jumped in the way.
"Almighty push!"
Hinata held her hands out and shouted a chant, causing an overwhelming repulsive force to be thrown out of her hands.
The transformed Monkey king, felt the power behind the dojutsu and felt shock. (Wasn't very clear about it, but the Monkey King can transform into a staff which Hiruzen frequently uses.)
The staff recoiled as the Hokage defended himself from the flying rubble created by the arena.
The battles that took place consisted of:
Jiraiya and Gamabunta VS Orochimaru and Manda.
Naruto Uzumaki and Gamaken VS Shukaku.
Miniature armies from Sunagakure, Kumogakure and Otogakure VS Konoha.
And finally, Hachiro and Hinata VS Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Hiashi led his younger brother and his nephew over to Hachiro and informed him of his following actions.
"We're going to deal with the Sarutobi clan first. That won't mess with your plans, right?"
"No, if you're feeling bold enough, you can take out the Shimura too. Knock yourself out."
In return, Hachiro responded with a chuckle.
Hiashi nodded, showing he understood before thinking of another question.
"What do we do with those idiots that are set on trading their life for their 'precious' Hokage? They were more numerous than I suspected."
Hachiro intently watched as Hinata abused her dojutsu against the old man and replied after some thought.
"I guess it depends on the specific situation surrounding the person in question. But, for the most part just give up on those who are too hard to crack. You can fulfil their wishes and end their lives."
Hiashi gave a stoic nod and ran over to rendezvous with the clan force, he had organised.
Hiruzen noticed the futility of his attacks against the Cloud genin and tried to swing his long stick towards the Hyuga in frustration.
"Damn you, Hiashi!"
Neji subconsciously, tried to use Revolving Heaven but it turned out, his worries were for not.
"Universal Pull!"
The staff slowed down before rushing towards Hinata's hand like it was a magnet.
The Hokage was pulled along as Hinata spread lightning chakra across her body using Lightning Style Chakra Mode.
With one hand keeping the attraction force up, she readied the other in position for a, "Four Finger Hell Stab!"
