"Let's make something else clear, Troublemaker" Laleen blinked, confused before nodding.
Shane gazed at her with a serious look. Pointing the pointer at his grandfather's picture, he narrowed his eyes on her.
"As much as you can, stay away from this man"
Laleen's heart dropped to the pits of her stomach knowing what it meant.
She watched him point to a younger-looking man that was strangely familiar yet she was sure she had never seen him before.
"Him as well."
Laleen grew quiet as she nodded stiffly, her fear returning.
"Will they kill me?"
Shane nodded. "Most likely"
A shudder ran down her spine as the words registered in her memory.
"What about the two remaining people? And why is one of them a child?"
Shane smiled, pointing his long index finger to his head to mimic the words he said to her, "Get this into your head, Dumdum"
