Chapter 58: BROKEN WRIST

Smiling brightly at him, Laleen voiced with raised eyebrows.

"You know what they say about us being mannerless"

"I'll kill you" Oliver swore in a dark promise that made Laleen shudder. He was resisting her charm quite well.

"I'd like to see you try" Laleen took a step forward where Oliver had turned rooted to the spot.

"Hopefully not today." Bringing her aching wrist near his face while keeping a good distance, she whined pitifully, "My hand aches you know"

"I'll fucking kill you" he replied with eyes blazing with hatred that had Laleen taking some quick, cautious steps backward instinctively.

Why so much hatred? What must have happened for him to hate her so much?

Laleen couldn't help cursing her luck on her lost memories.

Everything before that was blank and the more she tried to recall, the more it felt like it was moving further away from her.
