Chapter 1: An undying love
"Ade " a young boy called . He was being carried by a young and beautiful lady.
"Hmm"she answered sweetly ,her smile could make passerby go crazy.
"I would be your husband when I am of age "he declared while raising his fist in a fighting motion.
"I will hold you to that promise " she told him "by then I would have been an old lady . I will ward off everyyoung girl that comes close to you "she said in a spooky way.
The young lad gulped at this :"it doesn't matter. You will never look old to me "he regained his courage and bright spirit .
"Well ,let's talk about that some other time . Your parents would scold you for getting into a fight " Ade reprimanded him for getting into a fight with a friend .
"But he mocked you first"the young lad said with a sad expression.
Ade shook her head at what he said . She got to the front of a well designed gate that gives off the smell of richness—that was the young boy home . She placed him down gently then lowered herself to his level " Thanks for fighting for me "she ruffled his hair to which the young lad gave a giggle ,he always liked it when she did that "but you shouldn't have "she refuted him sternly but then she met the sad expression.
" I am sorry . I only followed my instinct".
"That's true Iben . Animals act according to their instincts ,that is the only reason they get into a fight . We are not animals ,we shouldn't let our instinct take control of us"
Ade advised .
"Yes Ade " .
"Promise me you wouldn't be involved in a friend fight again " she extended her pinky finger.
"What if they offend me first?"he asked.
"Then solve it peacefully. Never throw the first punch. Promise" she said again with a smile.
The boy giggled at Ade's smile ,it brought him an unkwon joy he couldn't understand "promise " he extended his pinky to her. The gate was opened from the inside and a stunning woman came out to meet them .
"Good day ma'am"Ade greeted politely .
The woman looked at Ade with a loving smile "Thanks for always taking care of my son "she said . She was waiting and listening to Ade advise Iben all the while they spoke .
"Thanks ma'am for leaving him in my care "Ade responded .
"Hmm. Iben ,let's go inside " she stretched her hand to welcome Iben inside .
"Okay mum!" He answered happily before running in with his mother behind him.
"Mum ,I promised to marry Ade " Ade could hear Iben tell his mother proudly . She was embarrassed .
"Do you think she would wait for you . She Is ten years older " she heard his mother say.
"Yeah ...I will be too old to wait " she had a sad smile on her face "I wish I was younger "she whispered to herself .

Ten years passed in a flash . Iben was already a grown teen . He had his hair trimmed by the side and had a sunny face that any girl would die for. All in all ,he was handsome enough to melt a girls heart .
"Hey ,hey " Iben called out from the basketball court. There was a group of young teens with girls cheering at the audience stand .
"Iben !!!" You would hear most of them scream.
"Hey ,the ball man " Iben called out . His team member with the ball seem to have heard as he threw the ball to Iben who did a few skill with the ball before throwing it into the net .
Goal!!!
The audience screamed.
[Class six ,group D has won their third match in a role ] the commentator spoke.
[Yeah ,they seem to be aiming for the school's gold medal this time ] the second commentator who was a female added.
[What do you think would happen ?with Iben on their team ,I don't see them losing ]
[Agree . You need to see how athletic he was . That skill at the end of the game was amazing ].
"ahhh...! Iben !over here " a girl called ,she dyed her hair peach colored.
"Ha ..." Iben sighed at the girls call then waved back .
"Ahhh! Did you see that ,he waved back "she held her friend tight while shaking her to make her see .
"Y-yeah...please can you stop shaking me now " her friend said .
"Ah..." Reality seems to daen in her as she had an embarrassed expression"I am sorry ,but did you see that"she asked again .
Her friend squinted"let's go " she dragged the peach girl out.

"Hey bro,that skill was hot" Iben went into the changing room first before his teammates.
"Yeah ,thanks "he replied giving a fist bump in response.
"Hey bro . The girls are totally into you "another entered. He was tall and had a much more visible Adam apple ,he was light skinned with an half shaved hair style with hair bangs at the side .
"Yeah man . He is more of the school Romeo" another teased to which they all laughed lightly .
"Stop dude " Iben couldn't stand the teasing and respond shyly .
"Hey ,I am throwing a party at my place tonight ,to celebrate our victory, You are all invited "Another with more fair tonned skin announced.
"Yeah I am in " most of them answered .
"Are you in Ib ?" He asked .
"Nah. I will pass, I have plans tonight" he answered .
"Too bad man . You were the light of today's game ". They all continued to talk with their various interest and girls who will be ushered to the parties and some teased Iben who the lucky girl was till hey all dispersed.

"Mum! I am home " Iben announced the minute he got home . He rushed to the shower ,took his bath and selected the clothes he wanted to wear for his date . "I am leaving mum " he announced the moment he was done.
"Wait ,at least eat you lunch " his mother called out to him .
"I am okay Mum !" He answered.
"Did you take with you enough money ?"she asked.
"Yes mum !" He answered as he left the gate .
Iben wore a plain jeans trousers with white shirt, he tried to look very presentable on his date .'hope I don't mess up tonight 'ge prayed silently . As he waited for his date under a tree shade .
"Iben ..." A feminine voice called out to him .
Iben knew who it was . It was the person he always dreamed about and always loved . She wore a black leather pant with a brown shirt that brought out her natural endowed assets she had her long brown hair flowing in the wind which looked like a special effect applied to highlight her beauties . His heart skipped a beat .
"Ade ..."he called out with love in his voice
