Ramona’s always used books as an escape from her sordid reality, dreaming of being a strong female lead with a dashing love interest to sweep away any troubles in her path. And then one day she wakes up in the body of a character in one of the very books she fantasises about. There’s only one problem.

Instead of a fluffy harem romance, Ramona transmigrates into “Carnage”, a romance mystery novel revolving around finding a bloodthirsty serial killer on the loose. At least as a former reader Ramona doesn’t have to spend her days panicking over the identity of this vicious murderer because she already knows who they are. Which leads to her second problem…

Ramona is now Juno Caddel, Chief of Police and the very same serial killer being hunted down.
