Chapter 64: Cold Blood

Once Kane stepped out of the tub, he was greeted by silver moonlight filtering through the small bathroom window.

Droplets of water were falling from his body and wetting the floor, forming a puddle under his feet. He was still there, standing motionless with a calm expression, while his eyes shone brightly in the darkness.

Kane let out a long sigh, slowly moving his head back as he closed his eyes. Once filled with murmurs that seemed to come from deep within the cosmos, his mind was now as calm as a lake.

'It had been how long since my mind had been this quiet,' he thought.

He felt his body much cleaner as if all impurities had been expelled, leaving him in a unique state. This was fantastic about the "Purification of Body and Soul" potion and the "Purifying Bath."
