Chapter 70: Abyssal sphere

On top of a building, a group of people could be seen: a man and three women. They were sitting on the edge, observing the disastrous state of the city. In the streets were all kinds of corpses: children, pregnant women, and older adults, all being devoured by the monsters that roamed the place.

The air was permeated with a strong metallic smell; the sidewalks of the streets were littered with blood and pale red organs. Some structures had suffered extensive damage; some had even collapsed.

Anyone seeing this would think that, a few hours ago, this city was beautiful. But now it looks more like a post-apocalyptic place, full of death and misery.

"I haven't seen a single government agent, just ordinary policemen who died at the hands of the monsters," commented Evelyn, who was sitting on the edge of the building after observing the situation with a cold expression.
