A few years after Yui's successful career at the Tokyo branch, a newly materialized female fox spirit made her appearance inside a forest that was used as inspiration by a certain famous anime film near the border of Tokyo prefecture and Saitama prefecture. She carefully observed her surroundings, her gray eyes slowly moved as some nearby cicadas chirped.
"W-Where am I...?" She wondered. The lights of the cityscapes of the two cities quickly took her attention as she slowly made her way out of the forest that she found herself in. The foliage rustled as she tried to fight her way through them, not knowing what she might find inside such big human-made settlements her mind started wander.
"Will I be able to find any of my own kind over there?" She hoped. Her three fluffy fox tails swayed as she reached the edge of the woodland, a feint glow emanating from them. Her white-colored kimono caught on some branches which tattered them, a frown appeared on her face as she noticed this happen as she fully immerged from the herbage. She soon found a well-maintained gravel road that had a campsite situated on the other side of it. Without any knowledge on what it was that she happen to stumble upon, she decided to cross the road in order to investigate.
She quickly raised her guard once she started hearing some human chatter inside one of the pitched tents. A battery-powered lamp gave the hogan a faint glow on the outside as two humans continued their conversation: "Like I said, we're safe as long as we both have some bear spray and bells attached to our backpacks! Why are you even trying to argue about this?" A male voice retorted. His voice bothered the other nearby campers as they prepared their dinners.
"I can't just trust those things! What if they don't do anything when a bear appears?!" A female voice responded. Her high-pitched whining annoying the man the moment she started speaking.
W-What a bunch of noises humans... The female fox spirit sighed. Her fox ears folded as the racket started to hurt her sensitive hearing. Because of this, she decided to not enter the campground and just followed the roadway instead. Thoughts about why she materialized in this world occupied her mind as she slowly trudged through the night, the reason for her sudden disappearance from the Divine Realm being a complete mystery to her. The humid summer air caused her to feel uncomfortable. Her long lilac-colored hair stuck to her face as it got covered with it.
I suddenly got an idea on a new MC that I can introduce into the "Immortal Moon" universe and so here I am! Working on another story. This will serve as the sequel for my other book "Immortal Moon."
