Synopsis
Eli was transmigrated to a world of magic and became immortal.
He had endless life and could never die.
“Huh? I’m talentless? Then, I’ll just train for as long as I need, even if it takes 1000 years. That should be enough for me to become strong.”
“The skill is hard to learn? Then, I’ll take a few dozens of years to research it. There’s no way it’s that hard, right?”
“What? I can sacrifice my life force to gain spirit power? That’s a bargain!”
“The enemy is here? Hell, I’ll just hide for 10000 years. Let’s see if he can outlive me. I’ll come out once he’s dead.”
This is the story of an immortal who first struggled to live in the world of magic until he became strong enough to slaughter endless worlds.

Overall... Typical badly translated chinese novel. Names are getting swapped every few paragraphs, suddenly new names that were not translated are coming up in chinese, then it switches back to the english ones. Names of people are getting constantly swaped around. The thoughts are strange, the grammar is weird, talks and thoughts are flat, characters are edgy and unpolished. This novel is a prime example, once again, how webnovel just pushes chinese novels to the front with 5* ratings. The ratings and reviews are not honest and all more scam than real. What a sad life we are living... Well, I can only suggsst not reading it and wasting time. [img=faceslap]
power system is same as magus, tries to be low profile not to get killed but gets perfect score in test, gets into nobles banquet and attract attention. it seems this app is becoming sh**ier and sh**ier.
Came into this novel by accident and what a happy accident it was. The MC is likable and goes aqay from some of the overused tropes, takes advantage of the fact he's immortal to slowly progress inatead of rushing everything. Highly recommend everyone to read this.
This novel is definitely the best out of this lot!!! Likeable and smart MC, great pacing and intersting plot! Only problem is that there's not enough chapters yet!!! HOPE THIS GETS PICKED!!!!
This novel is basically just Warlock in the Magus world, but with less Magi and a different cheat power. The actual plot is alright, I suppose.

The last story with this premise didn't get picked. So here's hoping for it to succeed this time. fillerfillerfillerfillerfillerfillerfiller
This is an awesome book!! Smart and cautious MC, who thinks through a his actions!! Very likeable, and the plot of the story moves at decent pace. Not super fast like some of the recent garbage novels, rather the pacing is reminiscent of the old classic webnovels! Love it!! Hope this book is choosen!
I am really enjoying this new book! The MC doesn't have some ridiculous nonsense cheat, that instantly gives him everything he needs or provides plot armour. Rather he has only one advantage (immortality) and has to work hard and take things patiently in order to rise to the top. Story building is good, and the pace is perfect. Not much is currently known about the world, but in a good/mysterious way. However my only issue with this novel is the grammar quality, the names are often spelt differently in the same chapter. It's annoying, and there are some other small grammatical mistakes. A simple proofread would fix this issue! Overall, excellent book and I hope it gets picked!
Cons: 1. The writing or rather translation here is quite clunky and author or translator sometimes forget the facts that they have established as times go on. 2. Mc used be quite low key and cautious but after the 400th chapter, there is 180 change in his personality, becoming a flamboyant, blood thirsty and radical person which is quite a jarring and sudden change. 3. The ending is quite abrupt as well, there is way more to the world and plot which were setup earlier, however we don't see any of them. worse of all is that by the time the story ends the mc isn't even that strong in his own world, so kinda disappointed because of that as well. overall if you can turn off ur brain to the translation issue and occasional logic breakdown, u might enjoy this since this is main a slice of life, cultivation, mystery and fantasy in the first 400 chapters.
The character and storyline were going really great right up until the author tried to be edgy when he picked out the character's last name, as a Christian that felt more like a slap in the face than anything else.
Honestly I genuinely enjoy this trial novel out of all the recent trash copypaste, there is no system aspect to the progression and it fits the theme of an immortal magus, the main character appears to have the ability to plan for the future and consider the sutainability of his actions, as of chapter 35 the main character also does not appear to be a simp for every woman that he sees nor is he an emotionless machine, he has friends but avoids letting them get too close since he is aware of the fact that he does not age and it will only hurt him in the future watching them grow old while he remains unaffected by the passage of time. In addition I enjoy the magic system of the novel, there exists quantitative mental strength for a magic weilder to be able to percieve their surroundings and manipulate the world through their will via basic telekinesis, however in addition there exists spells of levels 0,1,2,3,etc which are much more powerful for their worth but are more limited in applications, i can see a future power dynamic involving a mixture of pure mental manipulations coupled with spellcasting as a form of magic which may be interesting. Thus far we have not seen the qualitative change in a magic user's power after a breakthough, however I am hoping that the path of power in the novel does not replicate warlock of the magus world and other novels in which the main character is forced to choose a permanent spell that cannot be changed later since I dislike such things out of personal preference, though if executed well then it can still be interesting. I hope to see the main character playing more defensively like Han Jue since it makes sense to prioritise self protection when you an immortal with infinite lifespan fight a mortal with finite lifespan thus your losses upon death are infinitely greater than your foe's. Since the mc is untalented I can absolutely see a future where he is incredibly cautious avoiding conflict whereever possible. Top tier thus far
Averengly intelligent mc that has all his action exalted as super smart by author. Lot of plot armour, everytimr mc is in need of something, magically appears 'quest' in which he gets everything he needs, standard idiotic selfishness (he is eternal and instead of using it to his advantage in sense of sharing some secrets secretly and making out of it in long run, he is too scared to give up something), do rme personally too boring
I am currently at chapter 124 into the raws. This novel is amazing in a lot of ways. And, it definitely hits the itch that experience readers might have. MC is very analytical, always searching for knowledge, and uses his brain to get ahead rather than sheer strength. Also, knowing his lifespan is endless, he purposely avoids falling in love. This conception was further boosted after his first few group of friends and mentor perished. In that sense, MC character can be described as apathetic. He understands that he is blessed but also doesn't think of it as a curse. And always leverages his time for research. MC also finds many ingenious ways to beat his enemies. There was one point where he literally beat someone by simply outliving them. I won't go much into the details to not spoil, but the world MC is in has very wizards left. In terms of plot progression, I would say it's quite fast paced but it also fits just right with everything else. Overall, compared to many other wizards novel I have read, it definitely is at the top 3. Mage Adam(mtl) is still my favourite wizard novel. But that might change if this novel uses it's full potential. Please give this novel a try.
