Synopsis

I've read this story several times and it still fascinates me with its political conflict amidst the struggle for survival in the apocalypse. The intrigue between the parties, the romance between the ML and FL, and especially the fight scenes are all well-written. This gem deserves more exposure! [img=recommend]

This book is amazing!! You should read this book. I really enjoyed this read. It is light and easy to read but not lacking in entertainment and interests!
The story’s plot was unique as it’s a mix between xianxia and apocalypse. Despite magic and spell of the immortal, the struggle to survive was still there. Adding fluffy pet beside the MC bring more fun to read.

A mix of xianxia and apocalypse genre, didn't much of this genre combination. Story is very nice, character development is very consistent and logical, love it <3
I love how this story is different from other zombie apocalypse stories. The combination of Xianxia genres with urban genres is well-written, especially how the FL uses her talisman. I highly recommend this novel!

I will also give this novel a shameless 5 star review. Why? because the author has a very good personality, and her sister is funny. Jokes aside, this novel holds promise. It will be great if more people read this too.

This is one of the best books I’ve read on this platform. The story develops well and just keeps getting better as you read on! The book is really well written! The fight scenes are descriptive and detailed but not overly complex. The story pacing is really great and gives you a sense of reaching a crescendo! I truly enjoyed this book and was hooked right away! The ending also gives you a wonderful feeling too, it ended well and was not disappointing in the slightest. The author is very talented and now i’m a fan! I will read more of the author’s books after this! 10/10!

This is really good, it came up on the daily free and I got to about chapter 53. It's quite the hidden gem. Great writing, interesting mix of genres's, i really the characters, especially how baffled the ml and side characters are by the fl. 😂 I don't have the coins to carry on reading sadly but I highly recommend!

This story ended up being more epic than I anticipated. The reader gets to traverse wondrous fantasy settings from an apocalyptic world with humanity on the brink of complete devastation to the Heavenly and Devil Realms, as well as the domains of the Demons, Dragons, and Ghost King. Amidst the dramas and machinations of warring Gods and megalomaniacal humans are our FL, cultivator Zhu Lin and the legendary cold faced devil, Xiu Wu as ML. Add in a touch of humour, an assortment of side characters, summoned creatures, gods, and travel companions and you start to see how much fun can be had on this contaminated little planet. Also, it’s easy to see how some events and plot lines can get a little lost along the way as this story wraps up in a mere 339 chapters. That would be my only critique as I was left with a few questions (eg what happened with the spies and their plan, weren’t Xiu Wu’s besties hinted to go to the heavenly realms, who is looking after the children now, will the MCs return to help things improve, etc etc). But overall, the story was engaging and the relationship between MCs surprisingly sweet (given their setting and history). Still, it’s definitely a recommended read! I really enjoyed it all.

Shamelessly giving out full marks because this was a rare gem where each chapter made me want to continue reading! A cultivation story with a twist? Now that is different! This review is based on the free chapters and some. The story is unique: A cultivation True God regressed into a mortal body and survives in a world that's completely different from where she came from. All I'm saying is that this is soooo worth reading. I'm not going to give any excuses nor will try to convince you. Just do it. It's worth it. The romance isn't in your face (which I really appreciate and like). Even if this isn't your cup of tea, give it a read. Test the waters and then figure out whether you like the story or not!
