Synopsis
Even when one travels the path of slaughter, they cannot help but reminisce of the days when they were still young and naive. They long for the days when they can put the killing behind them and just rest in a town far away, where no one knows them and where they no longer have to deal in bloodshed. These thoughts always come as a form of longing for all whose hands are stained with untold amounts of blood.
Wang Xu was just your average security guard working for a security firm. He was assigned to the group currently tasked with guarding a gaming company. Feeling curious about the allure of these games, he one day buys the gear for the newest game on the market, Immortal Era, in order to try it out.
Sadly, this curiosity of his would go unsolved as he died that same evening rescuing some women from robbers. A few days later he awakens, but it wasn't Wang Xu that woke up. Instead, it was a mysterious individual from another world know as Kirou. Realizing that he didn't know where he was plus being assaulted by memories he knows aren't his, Kirou eventually comes to terms that he has now taken over the body of this youth and will now have to live as him.
Feeling that this is the start of a new life for him, Kirou resolved to live this life as peacefully as possible as Wang Xu. He also decided to solve Wang Xu's curiosity by trying out the new game he bought in his stead.
Follow Kirou in his journey to live a relaxing life and see how many people keep trying to get in the way of that.

One of the better original game novels here. Mc gets 2nd chance in life as he takes over jung man from modern world that has virtual reality games. As he had hectic assain life his last life in fantasy like world he now wants more normal life. So he starts his virtual reality game where he is op because its similar to his last life. Now the good part is that this novel has some original ideas and not very big plot holes as of now. Also its mc friends character designs are not bad. As latelly I have droped novels as I could not stomach mc friends (who are so anoying that no sane man would take them as friends). There are still 2 things that are bit anoying: 1. Mc goes with the flow too easily even if he only wants to be crafter, 2. Now mc who should be clueless about games often seems smarter about games than profecional famers who he interacts. So lets wait and sea how tgis novel develops. It could end up one of the better game novels or flop no idea right now. Author please add cover to the novel. Even simple white page with novel name and authors name is ok.
love it so far ive read up to chap 19 and can see it being a very entertaining story to read. granted you would need to like this stereotype of novel
this is a great story, only 2 problems for me. The first is the stability of the release of chapters which is all over the place and pretty bad. The other thing is the MC lack of focus at times, like he should have made the armor for all of them by now and the Tamer can he tame only 1 monster or is he only focusing on the 1 monster. The MC could help him get some powerful monsters if he could and if the MC was willing to help. Then there's the special areas the Tamer told the MC about and yet he hasn't visited any of them.

The novel isnt bad however I read for crafting and the mc not for side characters so when 2 and a half chapters of side characters come up it is difficult to keep reading even more so with such long chapters. it almost feels like some things are pure filler with no purpose so i wont continue reading this novel

I basically rejoined webnovel after two or more years and this was the first thing I wanted to see if it updated. Phenomenal work popcornsectmaster
it's really an interesting story and I like how well developed world background is and also hope this story will not be dropped. hope the author will gave this story more of his time it really worth it

This story is wonderful. Beyond that even! I couldn't put it down. Everything is so... I want more! Please give me more! I would recommend this story to everyone.

Compared to other gaming novels this has a few annoyances 1 not stating time difference (how long is 1 hour in game) 2 not letting others steal loot (idiotic, games are based of fantasy and real life, in real life you can steal) 3 addong the bead into game instead of keeping it separate 4 putting all types of craft under 1 umbrella instead of keeping them seperate 5 allowing mc to use abilities from past life that are not realistic for example the thing he did with frogs shadow teleportation, past life it was either magic or cultivation that allowed him what explanation will ypu give you didnt give any
Loving the story so far. The frequent updates and lack of a pay wall are godsends! The only reason I didn’t give World building five stars is that the mc’s previous world seems kind of undefined. I can’t tell if it was a modern world with slightly supernatural martial arts, or it was a cultivation world and he was just low level. This isn’t a criticism and it’s entirely possible this will be fleshed out more soon. Regardless, this story is a gem among all the trash I normally sift through, so thanks for that! 👍🙏😀

An assassin dies in his world and he’s reincarnated in a modern world where he’s trying to live a lazy life and discover the wonderful world of VR. A good story, very well written, no fkng info dumps to scary you away, the world is slowly discovered, it has a lazy and refreshing feeling overall . No revenge or other urgent business to take care of, for moment , :). You should give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed. Review made after the first 30ch.
