I watched my best friend fall in love with an amazing woman, a woman that I had wanted for myself before his feelings developed, but he didn't know. I can't be mad at anyone other than myself for not taking a chance when I had it. So instead of being upset about it, I'm going to be happy for them both, they're happy together and I could never betray either of them by destroying their happiness.
I envy them still though, I hate feeling like this. Hopeless.
I wish I could find my own partner, one that could satisfy my sexual desires just as much as my emotional desires.

Loving this continuation and the series based around the good Dr. Brian Huller. More steaminess ahead!!! I think Mara's work is now a "must read author" in my books. (Yes, I'm very punny). 😏
Me just realizing I haven't reviewed this awesome story! 😎 I 🩶 it and how it's so close to real life. At least from this part of the hemisphere. No major frills or extras, just a good old story with a great backbone. Well, it does have really good extras. 😉🤩
I already gobbled up the first few chapters, and OMGAH!!! 😱😃 I ❤️ it and can't wait for more. Reading about Bryan now is exactly what the 2nd volume had to be about. 🥰🤩
