Just as Allan was going to grab her card, Flor moved herself away from him slightly causing Allan to not be able to take it.

When Allan looked up to ask the receptionist, she gave him a beautiful smile:

"Fifty silver coins, please pay that amount to receive your card. In case of not doing so, we will be forced to call the guards "

Allan's face sank, if before the impression he had on the receptionist was bad now it could not be worse. Allan has been in the game for a long time which allows him to view the game and the NPCs in a different way than a newbie would.

Fifty silver is a lot of money, an amount that no new player would have, and one of the first things new players do when they arrive in the game is try to sign up for the adventurer's guild.
