This will be a chapter with multiple book ideas. I always thought that one of my favourite genres, the villain-type books, was really underdeveloped and has a lot of potential. Most of the villains novels are written in a Xianxia or Urban Martial Arts setting and it get's repititive from time to time. On top of that, a lot of these novels just stretch the plot unnecessarily until it get's boring. Furthermore, I always get annoyed when these villains are reborn and were chasing 'Green Tea' (Golddiggers in chinese) and are about to ruin their families due to this. Most of the time they solve this by destroying this irrelevant family, attracting the protagonist, using unnecessary schemes to 'squeeze' the value of the children of luck and simping over girls that viciously destroyed and killed the villain in the initial plot. This is an extremely boring and repititive plot used in these novels. Villain father using his villain son to attract protagonist is even worse. Ignoring the protagonist breaking (literally) and ruining his own son, just to have a reason to counterattack is just frustrating to read.
Book Idea 1: I always thought this is a huge plot potential. Villains in Online Game novels are always big bosses. They know before the release that the game is extremely special. On top of that, they possess a lot of monetary/human resources, experience in building powers, charisma and powerful talents. Then a hypocritical protagonist comes along and destroys all their work because he is scared of future troubles. Funnily enough, a lot of these protagonists are players who were reborn bearing a huge resentment towards other villains for destroying their organization in a power struggle. This is a huge genre and no villain novels were written about it which is simply wasted potential. Being reborn with these advantages, building powers and trashing protagonists by the way is, at least in my eyes, interesting. Also, this genre has a lot of plot options, so that authors don't run out of ideas.
Book Idea 2: Similar to the previous idea, is the Historical Game Villain Idea. There are a few chinese novels about a Game that suddenly appears which plays in the Three Kingdoms era (Chinese server, other servers have their own country's historical era). The types of protagonists range from rebirths, special skill/items to knowledge (reincarnated into a world without the knowledge of this era). The villains in this type of book are usually the first ones to get village building orders, historical celebrities and other special items/skill, on top of having a lot of human and monetary resources to quickly develop by using ordinary players (by letting them join their villages or buying their items). Once again, this genre has literally all historical and fantasy plot options for development, simply untapped potential.
Book Idea 3: This idea is similar to the Urban Martial Arts type of Villain novel. Reincarnated as an extremely powerful person in an Urban world and getting a Villain System. I just think it would be interesting to develop in other directions other than doctors with martial arts going down the mountain, mercenary kings returning to china and reincarnated Immortal Emperors. There are so many other types of fitting stories, and using those would make these books less repetitive and expand the plot options. Examples would be monster outbreaks (Solo Leveling type), Game sychronization (the whole world becomes a game), Aura Recovery, Game descents (All people can join games, e.g. All people can log into a game where they are city-lords / sect masters / emperors / etc.), Global Reincarnation (can be in the form of a game tower with novels/movies/animes, all people transmigrate into a world where they develop an island/territory/clan/castle/etc., all people can reincarnate into different worlds like martial arts and Xianxia and can bring back the powers, and more). There are so many topics to choose from, I don't understand why there are no Villain novels about these yet.
Book Idea 4: This novel is a Villain Father Book Idea. I always think that upon reincarnating into a Villain Father, no one pays attention to their son, either using him, ignoring him or kicking him out of the family. I think an interesting idea would be reincarnating into an orphan about 18 years old. Using the knowledge of his past life, the protagonist builds up a huge business empire (I suggest making it as big as possible, there is no such thing as too much power/money) and eventually marries (whether to make it a Harem or not is entirely up to the author), all the while thinking he is the protagonist. His children eventually grow up and don't develop into scumbags because of the education and care of their father. Eventually, when the children grow up, the Father receives a Villain System and realizes his children, without his reincarnation, where meant to be Villains. Being his actual children and having true family affection, forces the Villain Father to not use his own children for profit. Together with his family, he battles protagonists, becomes stronger and spreads his family's power throughout all worlds.
As a conclusion to this chapter, I would like to mention that there is a lot more potential in this genre. These ideas are just some suggestions and the authors can make these books about anything they would like. Generally, I would say this genre has very few limits.
