Chapter 48: Kiss Vs Kill

"HAH!!" Yang Ning bolted when she snapped her eyes open in startle and regained her consciousness. Her hands were still trembling when she remembered how she almost died by drowning in the deep lake. 

She wanted to die and return to her world but when she jumped into the cold water, she realized that she is still not ready to sacrifice her life for the sake of a 50-50 possibility of returning to her world, alive. 

However, it was too late for her to regret her decision and back out from it. Because despite her wanting to swim to the shores and struggles, this weak body of Yang Ning didn't comply with her brain's commands. 

Not only did Yang Ning not know how to swim, but also her long and heavy skirt was one of the major reasons for her not being able to swim to the shore of the lake as well. 

She still remembers how scary and strangely tranquil it was when her body was sinking to the bottom of the lake and she was feeling as light as a feather.
