Ishana parked her motorcycle in her garage.
After parking her motorcycle, the girl immediately rushed into her house.
As Ishana was about to enter the living room, she suddenly stopped in her tracks when she saw several people talking to her uncle in the living room.
Ishana furrowed her brow.
The girl was confused by the presence of these people in her house, after all her uncle was not the type of person who liked to have his work matters discussed at home let alone until the people he worked with came to the house.
Ishana looked at some of the people and observed the faces of the people but was even more confused when she didn't recognize any of the faces she saw.
Ishana knew quite a few of her uncle's coworkers because she had often been taken to the police station where he worked, so the faces of the people there were quite familiar to her.
But unlike what she saw now, she didn't recognize any of the faces.
Ishana finally decided not to bother too much, maybe it was another acquaintance of her father's, and judging by their clothes, they didn't look like police officers at all, it seemed that they were not her uncle's police colleagues, that's why Ishana didn't recognize them at all.
As Ishana was about to step into the living room, her steps were suddenly stopped when she overheard the conversation between her uncle and his friend.
"That incident happened six years ago, why do you have to discuss it again now? Everything will be fine, there will be no problems. After all, who would open the case again after it's been closed for so long? Your fears are unreasonable." Abyn said.
"But boss, you know yourself if there are still survivors. We still can't find her now, and what will we do if she acts?" Asked one of them.
Abyn who heard that immediately got up from his seat and looked at the people one by one.
Then he opened his voice again.
"I told you, you don't need to worry, I will take care of everything. What you're afraid of will never happen, and there's no way she can do anything even if she reappears. Now you better leave, I don't want my family to see you here, I told you never to come here didn't I." Abyn said.
The people just exchanged glances with each other.
The looks on their faces showed that they were still worried.
I don't know what they were worried about.
Meanwhile, Ishana, who heard her uncle's conversation with those people, was confused.
What exactly was her uncle talking to them about?
What happened six years ago? That meant it was the same incident where her mother and father and herself had been involved in an accident that had claimed the lives of both their parents.
It reminded Ishana of the tragic murder of her parents.
The image of those who had set fire to the car containing her parents filled Ishana's mind.
The girl's tears were now streaming down her cheeks.
What had happened to her uncle? And why did those people look so scared?
Had her uncle experienced something so frightening that Ishana didn't know what it was?
As Ishana was busy with her thoughts, the girl's consciousness suddenly returned as she heard her uncle's conversation with the men again.
"Do we need to look for that girl, boss? If we can find her sooner, there might not be any problems in the future."
"No need, you don't need to do that. She's just a little girl, after all, she won't be able to remember the incident. Let's just let her wander around out there."
"But boss..."
Before the man could continue, Abyn cut him off with a voice so loud that it startled everyone there.
"Don't you understand what I've said? I told you, you don't have to do that, I'll take care of everything. Don't ever contradict what I say, do you want to die?" Abyn asked in a loud voice.
Hearing Abyn's shout, Ishana jumped in shock until the girl accidentally nudged a vase behind her until it broke.
Ishana was immediately shocked and panicked when she saw that the vase had turned into small shards on the floor.
Abyn immediately walked toward the source of the sound.
And how shocked he was to see Ishana standing there.
Abyn could see the shock and fear on Ishana's face when she saw him there.
"Ishana? How long have you been here? And what are you doing, child?" Abyn asked.
"Uncle... I... I'm sorry, I overheard your conversation. I was startled when uncle suddenly shouted and ended up accidentally bumping into this flower vase until it broke." Ishana said in a small voice.
Abyn then approached the girl.
"What did you hear, dear? Did you hear everything?" Abyn asked in a soft voice.
Ishana slowly began to bow her head.
"I think I heard the gist of your conversation, although I don't know what incident you are referring to and who you are looking for. I'm sorry uncle, I overheard it by mistake." Ishana said.
Abyn was immediately frightened and panicked when he heard Ishana's explanation.
"You... You don't have to think about it dear. Let's just say that everything you heard earlier was just a conversation that you shouldn't have listened to, and you just have to forget about it and not think about it, okay?"
Ishana nodded her head slowly.
"Okay uncle, once again forgive Ishana." The girl said while showing a small smile towards Abyn.
"It's okay, now you better go to your room, uncle still has to talk to uncle's friends." The man said.
"Can I greet them first?" Ishana asked while glancing at the people who were talking to Abyn.
Abyn did not answer immediately, the man first looked at the people who were still in his place in turn.
Then, he slowly began to nod his head.
Ishana then began to step on her feet and approached the people.
"Hello uncle everyone, I'm Ishana." The girl said.
Abyn who saw the reaction of his friends then continued Ishana's speech.
"She is my daughter," Abyn said.
The people who heard Abyn's words immediately looked at each other as if they were confused by what Abyn had said earlier.
Abyn then sighed again.
"She's my adopted daughter," Abyn said again.
The people then nodded their heads.
"Well then, I'll go to my room first, everyone. Please continue your conversation. Sorry for disturbing you earlier."
"It's okay," Abyn replied.
After that, Ishana went straight to the second floor, where her bedroom was located.
Abyn and his friends sat back down and continued their conversation.
"Now you get out of here and don't ever come back. I don't want Ishana or my wife to see you again." Abyn said.
The men nodded their heads and finally began to leave.
