Chapter 291: The Cover of Night

Henry and Princess Marie's lips parted at the feeling of their arrival on the Knights of Hydrogia's grounds.

The moment didn't feel like it was over with as she clung to him so shamelessly and he kept holding back all of his desire for her. 

With arms underneath her so she wouldn't fall, he propelled them upwards with his strong legs until he was sitting on the bench he was supposed to be sitting on. He tried to lean forward and place her where she belonged as well but she wrapped her arms around his neck. 

She stole a final kiss and pulled away, his lower lip being pulled between hers before their contact was broken and she sat up. 

"Marie…" he uttered, still feeling hot. 

He found his gloves which had fallen onto the floor and tucked them into his belt. His tunic was out of sorts and he tried to fix it as much as he could so there wouldn't be a question as to what the two of them had been up to.
