Chapter 22: We are progressing!

"Could you please tell us the current situation?"

In the same room with the same people as the previous meeting, I immediately called for a gathering to learn about the current situation.

"Let me start," the mayor began proudly.

"All the residents from one district have completed their relocation. The process as smooth as brezee."

"What? Already?"

"Yes. The citizens have been deeply impressed by Duke Ryker's efforts to revive the town's history and past glory."

I had no idea about that slogan. Was that the reason why the townspeople welcomed me?

"The majority of them have agreed willingly to embrace the slogan of restoring the town's former glory and have warmly accepted the relocation."

"Moreover, they even refused the money we gave to them for relocation and for other needs. So, our total reserve is untouched.'

Well, if things were going smoothly, then it was fine. But were there really no problems at all?
