Le Hong was aware of these facts. Thus, she argued with the lead makeup artist for a long time about still being in charge of Song Ci. 

In the end, the lead makeup artist had to check if Lu Jingming was willing to accept such an arrangement.

Song Ci felt that Le Hong was impeccable. The latter was just an employee and had no say in anything. Yet, she tried her best to make things right. 

"Go and finish Lu Jingming's makeup first. Then, ask him if he's okay with the arrangements. If he refuses, it's okay. Just do what's best for you. I understand it's not easy to be an employee."
