"Are you not feeling well?"
"Huh?"
Sebastian looked at his mother from head to toe as she sat down on the intricate garden chair across from him. Curiosity swirled in her eyes, tilting her head to the side as she waited for his explanation.
"Your clothes," he pointed out. "It's not that cold."
"Oh…" Heaven chuckled awkwardly. "So, that's what you meant."
To cover all the marks Dominic left on her skin, Heaven had to wear something conservative. Hence, she went to wear a cozy turtleneck and long pants.
"Now that I think about it." Heaven touched her forehead before flashing him a smile. "I'm okay."
"Then why are you all covered up??"
"Oh, that? I just got the first clothes I could get because I was in a rush." Heaven propped her arms against the edge of the table, smiling from ear to ear.
Sebastian cocked his head to the side. "Why are you in a rush?"
