They had originally planned to retreat into the mountains and take advantage of the terrain to take a breather. They would wait for their injured men to recover before going down the mountain to counterattack.

They had no choice but to try and hold back the enemy with artillery fire. Song Yan and his men were targeting the main escape route of the hooligans. Their firepower was concentrated and fierce. Song Yan arranged for one of his men to keep an eye on the three children. He then immediately issued an order to find cover, stall and attract the enemy's firepower.

Song Yan's man hid the children under a safe rock bunker. He watched the intense battle, not wishing to be a babysitter.
