Chapter 181: Someone was inside

The eerie silence crept all over the hospital. Minimal staff was present inside. And those who were inside were too tired to stay awake. Many were fighting with their brain, and many lost the battle and succumbed to sleep.

Journee was deep in her sleep dreaming about the blast over and over again. While she slept, her brain kept working on the problem. Who rigged the house and why? When did they rig the house? Who else knew William kept that house? What was that mattress doing under the bed?

How could she be so stupid and not see the wire running from one end of the room to the other? If she would have tried to run in the opposite direction, could she have run clear of the blast? If Zachary wanted to get rid of the crime scene, why didn't he do that right after he kidnapped Amber, why wait for years? Who the hell was living in the room? And how were they entering the house?

"Amber! Amber!" she kept mumbling in her sleep.
