Chapter 32: So fragile, so pathetic

Journee was still dripping wet. The lifeless body of the bodyguard was now almost at the bottom of the pool turning the water red. Almost eight feet tall, Zachary was standing before her ready to shoot her. There was no expression on his face even though he just observed a murder and was about to commit one.

She realized that when he could murder his own family why would he feel anything now? He was a cruel man, no, a psychopath. He cared about no one except himself. All he wanted was blood and chaos.

Even though Journee was staring into the barrel of the gun, she never looked away from him. He was ready to shoot, and she was ready for him. The hammer was cocked and directly staring into her eyes, he pulled the trigger.
