Chapter 74: Recurring theme

Journee was narrating her dream as usual and Kay kept asking her question and recording her every word. Kay rolled his eyes when she mentioned that she again saw him dead in her nightmare. It was like a routine that she would see him dying or dead and would wake up crying. He loved that she cared for him and would get emotional at his death but also, he would be annoyed at his constant death.

"And then what happened?" asked William.

"I left my gun next to him and went to check on you," replied Journee. She closed her eyes and sighed before continuing, "you were not on your bed."

"Where was I?" asked William.

"On your knees, on the floor of your room. Zion had a gun pointed at you," said Journee.

"This is the first time, you saw Zion in your dream," observed Kay.

"Maybe I dealt with him face to face for the first time, that's why," suggested Journee.

"Or maybe your brain saw him as a threat," implied Kay.

"Don't know. Will have to check with Doctor Crem," said Journee.
