Chapter 245: Not Candy

"No, no, not Candy!" cried Zion and fell to the floor. He was trying hard not to break in front of Journee but the moment she went away he broke down.

"Calm down, Zion, calm down. Let's go and see her first," said Archer.

"Someone killed her, killed her because she betrayed me. Am I the boss or someone else?" suddenly his anger climbed a notch up. "After we see her, I want to see Theo and ask who ordered the hit. I want them gone from my family. There is no place for Candy's killer in my syndicate."

"Yes, Zion. But first, let us go and see her. Let's pay our respect," said Archer.

Zion sniffled and stood up, "yes, let's go. I want the person who ordered her hit to be found. I will punish them myself."

"Noted. I will spread the word. Don't worry. You will find who did this," said Archer and pushed Zion to walk. He knew Journee must have reached the parking lot by now. "We will take my car. You are in no condition to drive."
