Chapter 236: Drug Business

The next four weeks were unbearable for Archer. He wanted to see Journee but had no idea how to do that. As he was always with Zion, he could not go to the hospital or even talk about her. He was happy when one day Theo asked about her.

"What is the news about the sergeant?"

"Why do you want to know?" asked Zion.

"She is silent. She did nothing after you both were free. I thought she would retaliate," said Theo.

"I thought so too," said Archer. "Does anyone know what happened to her after they took her to hospital?"

"We should find out. Maybe she is dead and we don't know about that," said Zion. Archer clenched his fists. He didn't like someone talking about her dying. But why? Why didn't he? Did he really fall for her as Aura said?

"Or maybe she is plotting something else against us. We need to find out," said Archer.
