Chapter 76: Court hearing

Zion was taken away inside by the officers and Henry and Journee moved inside the court from the main entrance. Before walking through the metal detector, they placed their gun and badge in the basket on the small table. The officer who was on security duty saluted Journee and she nodded at him.

They both grabbed their things after the security check and walked inside the court. A man of average height dressed in a dapper black suit waved at them. The fitted suit showed off his toned muscles. Journee knew that if this man was not spending his time preparing for his case, he was spending it in a gym.

His slicked back hair made him look extremely professional. But his dreamy blue eyes made him look cute and everyone who looked at him, fell for him. That's why he was always a step ahead of Jack in romance games.

"Sergeant Davis! Henry!" he shouted. "Good morning."

"Good morning, India," replied Journee.

"Good morning, Indy," greeted Henry.
