Chapter 228: Away from all harm

Archer kept staring at Journee who was laughing like a psychopath who just killed 100 people. There was no other reason for her to laugh like that. If she had not been his enemy, he might have enjoyed her laugh. He loved the twinkle in her eyes.

His anger turned into admiration for her. She looked extremely pretty when she laughed. Her minions were talking and discussing something but his mind was occupied with her laughter. God! He could spend his whole life looking at her smiling face.

Journee after laughing shushed her minions. She was about to open her mouth when some people started shouting and a real maniac came running towards them laughing his head off. The man was running free without his shirt. One could count his ribs, he was that lean. When he came close all could see that his belt was undone and his pants were unzipped, thank God for his underwear.

"Stop him," one of the police officers who was chasing him shouted.
