Chapter 48: Army of lawyers

Furiously, Journee kept running. The journey from lab to bullpen, she completed it in seconds. She had to turn to reach the detention area, but her speed was too fast. She skidded on the bullpen floor and somehow stopped herself. Immediately, she raced towards the detention area.

Everyone looked at her weirdly. What was the emergency? Where was she running to? Did she receive some urgent news? Henry, William, and Graham all came running from their room. One by one all the officers started coming back to the precinct.

They would pass the commissioner and greet him. William kept replying to their greet but his eyes were on the path that Journee ran to.

"What happened?" asked William.

"Do you think she ran to greet our officers?" inquired Graham.
