Chapter 167: A hidden serial killer

Jaspreet was first hesitant to answer any questions asked by Journee. But when Kay threatened him and yes, assaulted him physically, he started singing like a canary. But he was still skeptical of all three.

"What did he tell you after you saw me with the gun?" inquired Journee.

"He said that he was a private detective working for the FBI," said Jaspreet. The moment he uttered 'FBI' both Kay and Journee looked at each other. "And he was looking for a serial killer. He was following you as they suspected you. He said if I ever see you again, run from there and never tell anyone that I saw you, not even the police as police are working with you to hide evidence."

"You idiot! FBI never works with private detectives," scolded Kay.

"He said I am a serial killer?" asked Journee, annoyed.

"Yes, and you came at me with a gun," explained Jaspreet.
