Chapter 18: BAB 18
"A wound? On the shoulder?" I asked.
"Yes, I noticed it when we were together at the gym. I asked him if he was okay and he said he was okay?"
"That wound did you ask him how he got it?"
"He got it from falling while reading a book while walking."
If you think about it, it's a logical reason. But, my hunch is not like that. Last night I met a mysterious person and yesterday there was a transfer student. Then the next day the transfer student was injured.
This can't be a coincidence, if it's connected then it would make sense. It's really like the development in the anime. I really saw too much happening. I immediately stopped my thoughts, thinking that it was impossible. However, I still have doubts about this.

At night, I was suddenly awakened by my detection skill.
"So, she's back?"
I felt the same presence as yesterday. The difference was the whereabouts of that person. That person was far away from my house on the nearest mountain here. The decision to use the longer range of my detection skill was right.
Because of yesterday's failure I moved more carefully. Eliminating the air of existence. I won't let you get away this time. Preparing myself, I immediately moved towards where that person was.
Without anything strange, I was behind that person.
"Yo, why don't you come to my house and knock?"
"!!??"
Hearing my words, that person immediately turned around and retreated quickly. He then released the light from his hand.
"That won't work against me, a second time."
As the light was released, I didn't repeat the same mistake. I moved quickly and got behind that person. I tried to hit his neck with my hand. But, he dodged it. Jumping back, he kept his distance from me. I chased after him and attacked him with my kick, but he blocked my kick with both his hands.
If he was a normal person, then his hand that blocked my kick would have been broken. But, he looked fine.
Without delay I kicked the ground into his face. And moved behind that person and tried to knock him down using my legs.
However, that person dodged my attack just before it hit, and we ended up facing each other.
The dark sky covered in clouds slowly showed the moonlight. Illuminating the person's face and revealing the person's identity. Just as I thought the development happened like in the film. In my previous world I had experienced this several times.
Slightly surprised by the identity of the person in front of me. I calmly looked into that person's eyes.
"What do you want in the middle of the night, White or should I call you Aliya-san?"
The person or rather Aliya, remained silent for a while then opened her mouth.
"How did you realise it?"
"I had some clues and one by one I connected them. And finally the red thread led to you."
Looking over her shoulder, I can predict that she won't move too much. But I would remain vigilant and I asked Aliya once more.
"I'll ask you a second time. What do you want from me?"
".... I'm just carrying out my mission."
"Your mission? Were you sent by the Goddess?"
"I have no obligation to answer you."
That was the answer Aliya said. Mission, she was on a mission.
"I'll change my question. Who are you?"
A long moment of silence followed my question. Then Aliya closed her eyes and said.
"...I'll tell you."
"......"
I was surprised by her words and furrowed my brows.
"My name is not Aliya White. My name is Aliya Riz."
"Is that all you have to say? Nothing else?"
Ignoring my words, Aliya took a fighting stance. Aliya did not explain who she was except for her name. Still in a fighting position, I looked for an opportunity to attack Aliya.
Actually, I just wanted to talk and find information. However, it seemed that the fight could not be avoided.
Suddenly a silver sword appeared in her hand. Before I had time to think, Aliya immediately rushed towards me. Unlike what I expected, her speed was a little faster than I thought. She ran straight at me at the same time as her attack. Dodging her sword strike, Aliya continuously attacked me without any pause.
If seen from another person's point of view, it could be seen that I was being cornered. However, I didn't want to continue being attacked. Continuing to dodge her attacks, I chose the right time. I kicked the hand holding the sword and lost the sword.
"What?"
Surprised by my sudden counterattack. But I did not stop my attack. Using the same foot, I thrust it towards her stomach.
"Guh!!!"
Holding her stomach, Aliya walked backwards. Her fallen sword turned into light.
"I misjudged you."
"Is that so?"
However, I noticed her moving away from me. Hey, it looks like she wants to have a long-range fight. As soon as I thought of that. Aliya suddenly raised her hand, a light appeared around her.
"[Light Spear]."
Releasing magic towards me, I released my magic as well.
"[Darkness Claw]."
The two magics collided with each other, causing the surrounding air to shatter and the two magics to be erased.
Not only was she surprised but so was I. However, there was no time for both of us to be stunned any longer.
"[Light Slash]."
"[Wind Arrow]."
We continued to release our magic, some of the magic was thrown and hit the tree trunk until it shattered. Dodging some of the attacks, I jumped and used protective magic.
"[Guard]."
Similarly, Aliya protected herself.
"[Shield]."
As the magic attack slowly faded, both of our eyes met each other. As if understanding with just a look we both released quite a large magic.
"[Dragon Breath]."
"[Ice Waves]."
Once our magic collided, but with a much greater attack power. Destroying the surroundings and leaving only the two of us standing.
Our gazes met and we were silent. There was silence and all we could hear was the sound of fire and ice breaking.
"Not yet... Our business isn't done yet."
At that moment, a bright light suddenly appeared in front of my face. As if mesmerised by that light, I walked backwards.
"The next time we fight, I will defeat you. You'd better prepare yourself."
The words reached my ears, as the light disappeared Aliya was no longer there.
"She's gone."
Sighing I looked up at the sky.
"Aliya Riz. A person with abnormal speed and magic power. She didn't explain her mission."
".... Hah!!! What kind of face should I make tomorrow. There's no point in thinking like that. Let's go back, I might have trouble sleeping again."
