Chapter 13: BAB 13
The next day, after the dragon incident. I walked to school with Shizuku. On the way I thought a lot about something. I had asked Shizuku if anything happened and people on social media. They only replied that there had been an earthquake that was not felt.
"Are you okay Tetsuro? You look exhausted."
While I was in a daydream, Shizuku asked me.
"I'm fine."
That's a lie. I wasn't fine I had so many things on my mind that I couldn't sleep. Plus I was also exhausted from using too much energy.
"Is it true?"
"Of course."
I tried to hide my fatigue. Shizuku stopped her steps and stood in front of me.
"You can't fool me. I've been with you since childhood. Don't do anything too much. You don't have to push yourself. If it's really important, just do what you can. You have me to lean on."
Hearing those words, my heart felt touched. I felt the corners of my mouth lift up. I'm overthinking all these things when I can't know anything. I was carrying all these problems too much. When was the last time I heard someone to rely on.
"Thank you, Shizuku. Words mean a lot."
True, Shizuku always helped Kuroo when something strange happened to him. Also we've rarely taken her out together.
"That's right. You and I have always been busy with training. How about the day after tomorrow we go somewhere?"
"Go together? Just the two of you?"
"Yes."
After thinking for a moment, Shizuku agreed to my invitation. We then continued on our way to school. When I looked at Shizuku's face, I could see that she couldn't help but smile. It seemed like she took my invitation as a date. Well, that's fine. There's nothing wrong with having fun once in a while.

The day after tomorrow, I ended up standing inside a crowded shopping mall. And of course I was here earlier than the promised time. There was no way I was going to keep a beautiful girl waiting.
"Sorry, for keeping you waiting."
As I was daydreaming, I saw Shizuku running towards me. She said that after standing beside me.
"Take it easy, I didn't wait too long."
I replied to Shizuku's words and looked at Shizuku's clothes.
She still had her hair in a ponytail. Wearing jeans and a cardigan. She always wears pants when she goes out, except when she goes to school. Even so, her appearance makes her exude a mature aura. Beautiful and sweet as expected.
"Is there something strange about my appearance?"
Shizuku asked uneasily.
"No, it's not. In fact, your appearance is cute."
"Uwahh!!!"
"I actually thought you'd wear a skirt for today."
"Hah!!!"
"I've never seen you wearing a skirt before."
"Why did you think that?"
"I don't know. Maybe I want to see your feminine side as well as I seem to be expecting a surprise."
"Cu-enough. We'd better get going."
Shizuku immediately turned her body around, but a moment later she slightly looked back.
"Mu-maybe if you take me out one more time, I'll wear a skirt."
After saying that Shizuku hurriedly walked away. I could see her face turning red before she turned around. And also I peeked at her face and her mouth trembled. I'd better not tease her too much. I followed Shizuku, when a bitter smile reached my face.
"Hey!!! See that girl? Isn't she pretty?"
"Maybe she's a high school girl?"
As we walked everyone's gaze focused on Shizuku. The clothes she wore made her look a few years older.
"Should I call her?"
"No, no. That girl has been with someone. Maybe her boyfriend?"
"But I still have a chance don't I?"
"You're not serious, are you?"
However, there is always a problem when you walk with a pretty girl. Shizuku attracted several people who wanted to ask her out.
Why would anyone think they had a chance, even if that person already had someone?
Staring at the people who just spoke. I stared at them with a cold gaze as if I could kill them. Seeing that the people left walking in different directions.
"Here..."
Shizuku stopped in front of the shop she was heading to. I stared at the shop for a moment before entering. It was a women's specialty store with a wide variety of underwear. It's not an easy thing for a man to enter this kind of place.
"Come on in!"
"Y-yes."
I daydreamed for a moment, but figured it would be fine. Shizuku and I walked in.
Letting Shizuku see and check the store's products. I observed the contents of the store. The wall color was strikingly female pink or yellow. Even the staff were women.
"There's no opening for a man to enter here."
Feeling uncomfortable, I looked at the store's products while dispelling my negative thoughts. While looking at the products, I saw that some people were also choosing products like us.
The girl looked very cheerful while choosing clothes, while the guy seemed to have a tired expression on his face.
"I can feel that feeling of yours, my friend."
Looking at the tired-looking guy, our eyes accidentally met each other. Thinking we were in the same situation the man nodded his head, as if to say, "it seems like it's very difficult for both of us."
I nodded back at him. We talked for a bit before Shizuku and the girl with her came to us.
"I want to try this."
When we went to the front of the changing room, I stood in place until Shizuku finished changing. A while later Shizuku finished changing and opened the curtain door.
"How do I look?"
Shizuku asked while showing off her new clothes.
A short skirt in a cool color and a half-sleeved shirt gave the impression of a mature woman.
"I think it suits you. Also, I didn't expect you to consider what I said before."
"Don't-don't misunderstand. I wore this outfit because I thought it would suit me."
"Is that right?"
"Okay-okay enough. I'll change into other clothes soon."
Shizuku immediately went back inside the changing room as her face turned red. Having fun like this once in a while seemed fine.
