Chapter 10: BAB 10
February 6, it's been a few days since the appearance of the monsters stopped. And today is Saturday, which is the school vacation weekend. If I was the real Kuroo then I would be doing Volleyball or Badminton practice, also maybe I would take Shizuku or Yuka for a walk.
However, I'm not going to do any of that. I'm going to look for some clues about the appearance of monsters. I'll also go around the city to defeat all the monsters that appear. I can't ignore the appearance of these monsters.
The only clues I currently have are the differences in monsters and the location and number of times they appear in a place. Actually, I can get a clue with one of the skills I received. That is with the skill [Bond Slave] with this skill I can make a slave sign to the monster so that I can communicate with the monster. However, unfortunately most of the monsters I met didn't have any sense. Some aggressively and blindly attacked me, despite having the [Bond Slave] skill attached to their body. Some didn't want to answer my questions and some couldn't be bothered to kill me. Because my patience had run out I finished off the monsters.

In a forest some distance from Tokiwa city. There were strange noises in the forest. A young man walked in the forest casually.
'Although I wanted one of them as a slave. I don't feel regret, but I feel that if I choose them. It would make a lot of noise because my size makes it difficult for me to hide.'
"Kkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaa!!!"
"Shit!!! Looks like a new type of monster has appeared."
While I was looking for monsters to use as slaves, I encountered several new types of monsters. First there were orcs as well as kobolds. They were quite bigger than the monsters I'd met before. The Orc carried an axe in his hand and the Kobold carried a large sword. Their attack power was greater, but their movements were quite slow.
Their numbers can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Even though they were both monsters they were fighting each other for territory. I could have just left as if nothing had happened. However, that would only cause damage to the surroundings because of their fight. So, I intervened in their fight. To test the endurance of the orcs and kobolds. I threw the low-level skills [Wind Slash] and [Lighting Strike]. Their large bodies made it easy for me to attack them. However, unfortunately my attacks didn't do much damage to their bodies.
"As it is, their characteristics are still the same as the monsters in the previous world. Low-level magic won't work on them. So, I'd better use mid-level magic."
Realizing my presence they stopped their fight and moved towards me. Using [Air Walk] I flew through the air and let them crash into each other. Without waiting anymore, I used [Dragon Breath] to burn the Kobold into particles of light.
While the Orc next to it I used [Chain Wending] to bind the Orc. Using the [Bond Slave] skill I made the Orc my slave so that only I could understand what the Orc was saying because it had become my slave. Usually this skill will tell you to give your slave a name. However, it was up to the person who wanted to enslave him to give a name or not.
"Hey, can the big orc hear me?"
"You damn human, I'll- Kuhhhh!"
I kicked the orc in the face.
"You know I don't have much time. So, let's get this over with."
The orc looked at me with his face bleeding from my kick.
'Looks like my kick was too much.
"Hey, do you understand what I'm saying?"
"I-I understand, strong human."
"Then this will be over quickly. I need you to answer a few questions from me?"
The orc nodded. I'll just get to the point.
"Alright first question, how did you get here?"
"I don't know."
"Hey, I don't need an answer like that. You'd better speak before my feet-"
"I really don't know, strong man."
I stopped my foot from heading towards his face. I just remembered that what the [Bond Slave] skill user commands cannot be denied or lied to their master.
"You really don't know?"
The orc nodded.
"Just tell me even a little trivia or anything you find useful?"
"I was just in this place without realizing it. I also don't remember anything, not even my memories before being here."
"Damn, this is the same as going back to square one.
If her memory of the place where she used to live is anything to go by, I can't remember. This just made me run out of ideas. I thought asking monsters could find a clue or an answer, but I was wrong. I had to think of something for the next step in order to get other information.
"Hey!!!"
"Yes?"
"Do you understand the language of other monsters?"
"I think I do."
"I see."
Hearing that answer I stood up and pointed my hand at the orc.
"What- what do you want to do?"
"Sorry, I can't take you with me because of your size, also I haven't got the skill to store summoned creatures. And if I let you live you'll cause a lot of trouble."
"No- wait I will-"
"[Dragon Breath]"
Burning the orc into particles of light.
"It seems that today is enough to find information. I'd better head home soon, but before that I'd better take a look around here in case there are any monster nests, also I might have to check for other monsters."
Walking home while wandering around in the forest. A few minutes into the walk I found another orc.
"Buoooo!"
The ear-splitting roar of the orcs made the animals run away. The trees trembled nearby.
"This orc is a little different, it's about twice the size of the one I met earlier."
Pointing his huge sword and vicious face at me. Slightly surprised, I dodged the orc's attack and used the skills [Chain Wending] and [Lignting Strike] by adding more energy. Leaving the orc helpless.
"Alright, let's start [Bond Slave]"
Although I didn't have high hopes for this Orc. I tried to think positively that I would be able to find information about something.
