Chapter 271: West of Hyra

Around most cities, forest was built to act as the first line of defense against the Dark Mist Ground. If even one of the trees has turned dark or started disintegrating, the city will be alerted. Fortunately though, nothing of this kind of thing has happened ever since the forest was built.

West of Hyra City, inside the forest is a wide clearing. It's not that big but enough to fit two houses together.

Tents we're set up filled with equipment inside. A tower of at least ten meters was in the middle with all kinds of monitors and buttons at the base.

People wearing white coats walked around the tower while men wearing dark suits patrolled the area while some inside the tent.

Suddenly, armoured cars made a sound from a distance and the personnel turned towards it. The vehicles stopped a few feets away from the entrance and people walked out from it. There's dozen of them wearing different kinds of outfits with weapons on their side or their backs.
