Chapter 85: Clues

"Enemy? Where?" Scorpy asked.

"Dead," Eka pointed behind him, and the scorpion looked. Seeing the decapitated head of his enemy, his eyes calmed down, but a few seconds later, he stood up and ran towards the destroyed houses.

Eka didn't stop him. There's still time; the other Holders who wanted to find the teleportation platform won't be able to find it that fast. Even if they did, they would still wait for a day before crushing the stone. James already said this before Eka reached the ravine.

Scorpy found dead bodies of his kind in every house, including the small ones. He brought them out silently and placed them in the middle of the settlement. Hissing sounds came out of him from time to time.

Is that how they cry? Still creepy, Eka thought while waiting.
