Ana stared at him when he laid her on the bed. Her conflicted eyes only met with a warm smile.

"You know when I was hurt, I believed it was the world's mistake. As if the world owes me a lifetime of happiness. I fought for it. I was ready to snatch it no matter what cost I needed to pay in exchange. I believed, if they had used me as a pawn, it was only fair that I would use others as pawns.

If they hurt me, I will hurt them and the means did not matter. I was so immersed in my survival, my revenge, my hatred that I turned a blind eye to the pain of others. To their hurt and their worries.
