A great number of men and even women gathered inside a large, enclosed arena. The arena was big enough to hold thousands of people inside, a number that sounded too large in Lihar's head. But that wasn't the only surprise the arena had.
The building was built in the span of two days, many mages bending the earth itself to raise its walls and ceilings, similar to two other buildings in the Architect's Quadrant.
The sight awed Lihar, but when the people all praised Savine for these miracles, his mood soured greatly. It wasn't like she was the one who bent the earth and built these buildings, it was the other mages.
From what he heard, she wasn't even the one who hired these mages. The leader of the bank was paying for all of it.
Lihar couldn't get it. How could some people just get all these things? Things were literally falling on Savine's laps and people were commending her for it. What was up with that?
