Chapter 100: MISSING HIS ENGAGEMENT PARTY 2

"Congratulations Hazel." I heard a familiar voice whisper next to my ears. He placed his hands on my shoulder, it would be the first time we've had skin contact since he left. I was still so mad at father for abandoning us and acting like we didn't exist for years.

As if I wanted to forgive him, he sold me out for his selfish gains. Father was the last person I wanted to see today but here we are.

"You've finally arrived, please join us on the table." Father said gesturing his hands to the table. He hadn't spoken too much to anyone since the party began. No one had to tell me this was a disaster.

What's an engagement party if the groom is absent? At this point I doubt Alex is even going to show up for our actual wedding ceremony.
