Chapter 34: FAMILY DINNER 5

His face was totally dark, and the cold aura emanating from him sent shivers to my body. I've seen Alex angry before but I haven't seen him this angry. I closed my eyes tight preparing myself mentally for what was about to happen.

I waited and waited but nothing happened, I opened my left eyes slowly scared of what I would see, but I saw nothing. I opened my eyes fully this time and let out a sigh of relief touching my chest lightly.

I darted my gaze around the room, but could not find Alex anywhere in the room, Did he go out? I tiptoed off into the bathroom to find no one in there. The closet was not left unturned either was the balcony, but still could not find anyone.

I felt fully relieved as I settled on the sofa comfortably, and just then my gaze fell on the document on the table, a flower, and a red package. I wondered where they came from till I recalled Gaius presenting them to me this morning, but I was too eager to go out and asked Gaius to keep them here.
