Chapter 78: AN ASSHOLE 1

"Why is the love of your life suddenly an asshole?" Carie smiled broadly placing her glass of juice on the floor as we both headed to where our guest was waiting.

"When did I say Alex was the love of my life?" | knew she was trying to tease me and this was not funny at all.

"I don't know, I thought if someone steals your first kiss, then they automatically, become the love of your life. It happened to me." She shrugged."

"Stop joking around Carie it doesn't work that way. Alex and Lukas are two different people." I rolled my eyes trying to cover my flushed face.

"If we're being honest, Alex and Lukas are almost alike. Only that Lukas isn't heartless when it comes to me." I sighed at her words.

"Lucky you," I muttered.

"Yes I am, but I know you like Alex even if it's just a little bit." I almost choked on my saliva at her words.
