Chapter 5: Chapter Three : Flashback ( II )

The next time Anna woke up, it was already daylight as the blindingly glow of the Sun shone through her room, She sat up from her lying position and was Suprised to detect her mom in the room.

" Good morning Anna " Her mom greeted her whilst staring intensely at her as if trying to see through her.

" Morning Mom " Anna replied as she managed to force a smile.

" What's wrong with you today Anna? you don't look well. " Her mother inquired Worriedly as she placed her hand on Anna's forehead trying to feel her Temperature.

As her mother's hand touched her Anna Flinched at the touch, the yesterday's Trauma hasn't left her.

" Why did you flinch Anna? Are you alright? " Mrs Carthy asked her daughter Worriedly.

" I am alright Mom I just had a bad dream " Anna Replied changing the Subject.

" oh! don't think too much about it Anna, it's Just a dream and not reality so don't take it to heart " Carthy Assured her daughter.

" Alright Mom " Anna was relieved that her mom didn't detect anything else.

" That reminds me... last night you didn't have dinner with us as you slept early which was unlike you, Anything the matter Anna? " Mrs Carthy Jones asked her daughter with concern laced in her voice.

Perhaps it was due to motherly instinct but Carthy felt something was wrong with her daughter, She could feel a change in her daughter but she couldn't figure out what exactly.

" Mom I..... " Realising her mom Care so much about her Anna wanted to Tell the truth but when she remembered the threat she decided to keep shut about it.

" What is the Matter dear? Please talk to Mom " Carthy Pleaded with her daughter.

" it's nothing Mom, I just feel really tired and drained, Can I stay at home today Mom? " She inquired.

" Of course you can. Actually your Teacher Miss Ellie Called Earlier and informed us that you were a little Sick yesterday so she implored me to let you stay at home today "

" Alright, Thanks Mom "

" Hmmm, I have brought your breakfast " Her mom said as she showed her the tray of food that was on the small dinning table in the room.

Glancing at the tray, Anna saw that it contained her favorite Food ' Toasted bread and Hot Milky Tea '

" Thanks for the breakfast Mom "

" You are welcome darling, you can have your breakfast after you've freshned up, Am heading to work now, just to let you know there's no one at home today so you can have the study room to yourself and also I have Prepared your lunch and dinner it's in the refrigerator so all you have to do is to Reheat it in the Microwave "

" Okay I'll, thanks for the Efforts Mom "

" it's No big deal dearie " Her mother replied as she pulled Anna in for a hug.

During the Hugging Section Carthy thought she smelt Something Different about her daughters body it was like Her daughter has been tainted but she Quickly removed that thought from her mind as there was no way that would be possible or so she thought.
