Chapter 140: A Reason to Fight Again

"Well, it's good to hear that." Zaki said as he nonchalantly took a drink from his water bottle and Sei's lip twitched upon hearing his response.

"So? Am I finally human again?" Sei then asked while his gaze was still focused on the twilight night sky causing Zaki to look up as well.

"Well, didn't you become human again for quite a long while now? I believe it started around the first time you felt something towards your wife?" Zaki talked a bit hesitant but Sei just confirmed his words with an "Mm. You're right." Causing Zaki to be thunderstruck for a while as Sei just continued talking.

"Just now… she cried in my arms… asking me why she can't see me." He said with such a low, downhearted voice. Causing Zaki to just clam his mouth shut and stare at him.
