Chapter 66: Lust

He thought it would be easy caring for a child, but he was wrong.

Little fire was full of wonder and energy that he felt his own energy drained. He knew it wasn't fully human because there were somethings the child could not do.

First, Little fire could not taste. When he had introduced ice cream, the child just gulped it down with no expression on its face. Second, Little fire had no need to relieve itself. While he went to the restroom five times a day, the child had gone zero times. Third, Little fire does not climb. When Adam brought the child to the park, Little fire just stared at the ladder. Being a good parent, he tried teaching the child, but Little fire just stared. 

The adult ended up picking it up to the stand, avoiding the ladders.
