The next day Angie meets up with Julia before the start of their first period and explains to her what is going on. Julia was not surprised that her friend had a crush on the bad boy. Julia had figured out that Angie liked Alec especially since Julia had seen how Angie looked at Alec in class and how she had been submitting assignments for him even though he did not ask for it. Julia knew this was going to be trouble, but she can't stop her friend from liking him know it was a bit too late.
Angie hands Julia the note in which Julia added a little more message but , Angie changes her mind and asked for the note back and held on to it till it was time for second period and in which towards the end of her second and third period she calls out to Alec and hands him the note and runs out of the class heading toward her next class along with Yari. During fourth period Yari asked Angie what that note was about and so Angie tells Yari that it was her confession to Alec about how she truly feels for the boy. Yari was shocked since she thought that she didn't want to confess at all. Though now it was a bit to late since Alec has the note and there is no turning back now.
During lunchtime Angie and her friends met up at their usual tables and talked about plans for the weekend and all their upcoming tests for their classes. Once lunch was over it was time for fifth period and that was the class that Angie was not particularly happy to be in today since due to that note, she gave Alec, she gave herself a death sentence. As Angie and Julia walked to their class together Angie couldn't help but think about the possible outcomes of the note. There were only two outcomes, one she doesn't get rejected and her crush accepts her feeling or two he rejects her and the whole school knows that the new girl confesses her feeling to Mr. Popular.
Both girls make it to their history class and sit on their assigned seats and begin to work on the assignment on the board. As usual Alec comes in and the typical fan girls try to get his attention. This time Angie was too embarrassed to even look up, she didn't want to make any eye contact with Alec. The rest of fifth period went on like nothing other than a boring class lesson with Mr. Chacon. Even the last period of the day just went on like normal and it was time for Angie to head home.
A few days passed and still Angie hasn't heard anything back from Alec. She keeps avoiding him in any way possible, but she continues to help turn in assignments for him. It seems for Angie it became a habit to help Alec turn in assignments for him. Just as third period ended, Angie had Yari ask Alec for a response back on the note Angie gave. Angie meets Yari outside of their class and there Angie sees Yari walking out with the boys. Yari then meets up with Angie and they both walk into the locker rooms and that is where Yari hands Angie the note. At that moment Angie was so worried to see what was written on that paper she had in her hands. After changing onto her PE uniform, Angie pulls up the note and reads Alec response. Angie re-reads the note over and over before Angie finally steps out of the locker room where she is met by her friends' concern looks.
