Chapter 110: New Roomate

"Explain then," Dahlia was not going to be moved by anything more Lily had to say. She had the chance to say everything in front of Lady Victoria and the other vampiress. In one word, she was merely giving her the benefit of the doubt.

"I didn't know it would come to this," Lily said.

"That's an excuse, not an explanation," Dahlia told her.

"I had no choice!"

"Everyone has a choice!" 

"For Chi's sake Dahlia, Persephone is our princess and is loved by the human population. If there is anybody liable enough to win this competition, it's her! I couldn't afford to provoke her. If she becomes a queen in the future and bears a grudge - which she would - then I'm in a lot of trouble, if not, my entire family members. She would make things hard for my future, " Lily explained, hoping that Dahlia understood her. 

"So that's the excuse then for letting someone else abuse you? You let her walk all over you just because she's a mere princess?"
