If there are many birds in a zoo, dozens or even hundreds, with little difference in features, they usually won't be named but identified by numbered leg bands. Only a very few with special characteristics or those of a species in small numbers get names.
A few macaws had just arrived, and Fang Ye wasn't very familiar with them, so he didn't name them. But for convenience, they were temporarily called Parrot 1, Parrot 2, Parrot 3, and Parrot 4.
The two perched on the thick tree trunk in front of the metal mesh were Parrot 1 and Parrot 2, with Parrot 2 being a bit more artistic. Standing on the rock behind was Parrot 3, and on the hanging rope bridge was Parrot 4.
